Both of our children love food....how could they not? Look who they came from! :0) Canaan likes to cook with his dad and Macy, well, likes to smear it everywhere. Recently Macy -in what we like to call "attack of the mighty meat sticks" found that her HAIR prefers to partake in lunchtime as well. It devoured more food than her mouth did! She just thought it was hilarious. I, on the other hand, quickly dunked her in the tub when it was all over, to which she also thought was hilarious. Geez....she is a happy kid.
Then yesterday, Macy got to share her love of creative culinary arts with some of Little Rock's finest chefs. Mac and the March of Dimes are preparing to host the Signature Chefs Auction at the Peabody Hotel in November, and at the photo shoot, Macy got to sit with these fine food experts and pose for pics!!! March of Dimes wants every baby to be born healthy, and we were pleased to have our little chef there to participate--and Macy was pleased to support her Dad!

My friend!!!!! I'm thrilled to see you started a blog (and that you've actually updated it more than once...always a good sign!). Mac's party looks like it was a HUGE success...thank you so much for the invitation and it totally stinks that we don't live closer. Will you guys be at HU's homecoming this year?...we're hoping to fly down on Friday, fly back on Sunday. If not, maybe we could catch up with you at your house for a bit on Saturday? Let me know!
btw: too cool that you're teaching your kids the art of food NOW...my kids and I could use some serious help in this dept! :)
