3 MONTH "RE-CAP"--(pardon the pun about the alien boy above--Canaan at a nutrition study at Children's hospital)
January was pretty much about recovering from NYC and Christmas. We tried to do nothing except Canaan's 4th birthday party at Playtime Pizza. This was the first year that he invited friends to the party and we had so much fun! Although we asked friends to just come and play, no gifts--Canaan got lots of sweet cards, some handmade from his friends. Emma even spent her own money to go to the dollar store with Canaan in mind and purchase sidewalk chalk! So sweet! His friends in attendance were Lillie and Grant, Lauren, Hunter and Avery, Ty and Olivia, Ian and Chloe, Abby, Jude and Elim, Emma and Garrett--and all the parents along with our families. Whew!

February's highlights were numerous. Among the highlights: the HUGE garage sale with friends to prepare for our DDG consignment sale, my annual photography school, and Mac's family finished out our new shed in the back yard. Much thanks to Pop, Mimi, Uncle Bob, and Becky for all their help! We love you! (The pics from the van were en route to the zoo that day with 4 wild children stealing hot dogs from each other....Macy stuck one to her feet to claim possession from Sam.)

The best part of February was Hopie got hitched! Any pics I post here from that are the first to be seen...I have not delivered her proofs yet! She and John are so happy and Hope just looked fabulous. Congrats friend!
While we were at the wedding, we sold our house!!!! Even in this economy we got our asking price with just a few concessions. Thank you, Eleanor, for your hard work and PRAISE THE LORD! (more on this later...)
Between taking care of house stuff, March was filled with Granna's birthday, Canaan's first soccer season, and Macy playdates with Jaci. Here are a few pics...until April!
