The news of the loss of our sweet friend, Micah Rine Pate, is only hours old now, and we are all still reeling. We hurt for everyone--all the people in this world who have been blessed by the sweet smile of this godly girl--too numerous to know.
I am pained by so much: the betrayal Micah experienced, for Casey, Kelli, and Isaac to have lost a sister and aunt, and especially for Dennis and Terri--a daughter.
I wept for joy at the sound of my little girl calling my name to come into her room this morning, -- the innocent reminder of the love of a parent for a child, and the agony of that loss for our friends.
Praise God for being a healer, comforter, and savior of us all! I praise Him now that you are sharing in his love today, my friend.
We'll miss you, Micah.

It is such a huge loss. I didn't know her personally, but know the impact she made on others. I am sorry for your loss. Her family is in my prayers.
Amen! I know the angels are so happy to welcome another angel in Heaven. Though I and everyone else will miss her so much here on earth. Thank for you sharing the photo you have of her and Terri - it's precious. That's how I'll always remember her - with a smile on her face.
