Happy 1st Birthday Macy!

She's done it.  Our little angel has passed the 1 year old milestone.  She has sufficiently partied, and now commences what will be a very eventful 2nd year for this little sassafras (one of her many nicknames).  

She loves dogs more than anything else we have come across yet, so one of her cakes was fittingly a princess dog-complete with tiara-which we can only assume is named "Schmoockums" beside it's picture in the cake decorating handbook at Community Bakery.  

Macy has many notable characteristics that are all her own.  If exposed, you toes will soon be a Macy snack as she likes to bite anyone and everyones.  (We will try to not let this one follow her throughout her life--or maybe we will save it to scare away the first boyfriend....?)  She loves her Bebe, which is any doll she may currently have in her possession.  The most entertaining is is any bottles or cups with lids.  This will entertain a Macer Cat for hours.  That is, until she becomes frustrated by the unruly bottle not following her obviously clear instructions for it.  

Macy can contort her face into more expressions than a mime.  She constantly keeps us laughing with her charm and independence and most of all her love of her best friend, Canaan.  He is her greatest joy.  Hopefully mom and dad fit into that title somewhere.  

We love you, Macy and are so thankful for your sweet presence in our family.  Happy Birthday.
